I was excited and waiting on this punch for a project. It came today and I immediately went to my shop to start punching stars. That didn't happen. The thing was so dull that it took a heavy hammer just to get it through 4 oz leather. Once it punches through, I pulled out the punch and the hole was so jagged you couldn't even tell it was supposed to be a star. I tried again and again and again. After about 8 attempts I noticed the punch itself had bent in the middle. Total and complete waste of money, time, and leather. It is now in the trash where it belongs. Please believe what you read. This is junk. Do not buy it.The star shape was good but the punch needs to be sharper upon arrivalWorks great. Punched right through the leather.
