This is a well made and designed little pouch, reasonably priced. There is a full, flexible inner nylon-type fabric sack that isolates contents from the exterior structure of coated-nylon. The inner sack is closed by a draw string to secure contents (obviously not as closed as a zipper or flap would). Yes, it's an easily closed dump sack type. It affords easy access, and not super tight security. The price was excellent, and the product appears perfect in manufacturing - I am impressed, and it prompted me to look at other offerings from the manufacturer. There are many such outfits producing comparable gear (or who knows, maybe really one big factory town with many labels and the same materials and workers) - and this is a typical piece, with good quality control.It is a smaller gear item "Size: 6" * 8" * 3" (L * H * W)" so it won't overwhelm any pack or belt it attaches to. Note again - it's on the smaller size closer to 5+ inches by 3 on the bottom footprint, but NOT too small to be silly. Look at the pix - see the smartphone for a reference. Buy one to use - be happy with it.
