This remark is not limited to this tool. I've bought several different ones and they all seem to have this same problem. The setter does not fit all the way into the anvil. Is it supposed to be that way? I find the minimum material thickness too thick and it tends to get stuck in the anvil. So, I ground out the anvil to accept the setter all the way. I don't remember if this is one of the ones I also had to re-surface the setter. Some setters had a shoulder that the grommets got stuck on before they "flanged" out, so I had to grind off the ledge of that shoulder so it wouldn't get stuck. Now that it's smooth, it flanges out well without excessive pressure. Now I hope I can find all the different grommets I need. They come in handy for all kinds of uses, including electrical. What I would like to see is something like an automotive brake/fuel/AC/plumbing flanger so I could get different sizes of tubing cut to the length I need and flange both ends for very thick projects as a sort of hollow rivet. Automotive lines don't come in a wide variety of diameters. But, I do get a lot of use out of this.
